Anyone notice loss of distance with these shafts? I have them in a set of MP-32. I came from a set of Ping's S59 with the ZZ-65 and it seems that I have lost one club in distance...

Any feedbacks?

i did initially lose distance especially as i went from s300 dynamic gold lites, which are pretty similar to sz65s i believe although am not to sure. once i got used to feel of trapping the ball with the clubs i was fine and distance returned i found i was trying to hit at the ball rather than swing as the feeling is very differnt to stepped shafts. its a very different feeling to dynamic gold. I have found these fantanstic in wedges particularly pitching

I find that I like the flat flight of the project x's, but cannot deal with the harsh feel.

Many players feel project x shafts are "harsh". I like the feel. It seems as though I am swinging the club and not feeling the head weight. My tempo improved with PX shafts and the result is solid contact. I don't really go after it, I swing at 90% and I don't feel the transition. I guess it's just a good fit for me?

I really like PX shafts and they start to get too stiff for me at 6.5. I can play non flighted PX 5.0-6.0's w/o any problem. IMO way too many ppl get shafts according to their ego and not their swing speed. So it is not hard to understand why ppl say the PX shaft is too stiff; plus they are butt stiff, so if you don't have a decent golf swing they will not preform, especally if they cast.

I've found I can play most any shaft. It just takes a little bit to find out what type of swing the shaft likes. Subsequently I like DG S300's, KBS stiff, rifle 6.0. However my favorites are PX and KBS.

I play the old satin finish project x still to this day, i believe its the best iron shaft ever made

I just bought a set of Bridgestone J36PC's with PX 6.0 and they are going 10 yards further than my Macgregor 1025m's with TTGD S300's. Do you think it is the shaft or the club accounting for the extra distance? I think it could be the shaft but would like some opinions. Thanks.

Hmm, did you take a lesson or 2? Thats the best way I know of to increase distances.
