Kudos to Bushnell's Customer Service/Repair Dept.

So about a month ago I'm playing an unfamiliar course with some friends, and using my 1500 Tourney Edition to shoot flags. About 15 holes in, it suddenly stops acquiring pins. I thought it was a battery issue, but what the most strange is that it would shoot big things like bunkers or a the side of a house just fine, but not pins anymore. Replaced the battery with the same result.

 

Bushnell's repair page basically says ship it to us with a check for $10 to pay for return shipping, we'll have a look at it and if it's not a warranty issue we'll let you know the repair rate, otherwise we'll fix it for you.

 

So I wrote out my problem and shipped the thing off to Bushnell with my check. Haven't heard anything for a few weeks and get home yesterday and there's an unexpected box on the porch.

 

What's in it? A brand new 1500! Not a repair, not a refurb, in the retail packaging and everything. Even has the new zipper plus magnetic flap carrying case.

 

I'm coming off a horrible warranty experience with Circuit City and HP on a laptop, so I can't tell you how refreshing it is to have a company be so easy to work with and go over and above like this. It's the kind of treatment you don't forget easily.

Bushnell is great. I lost the battery cover of my 1500 TE and called them. I told them I lost the cover and that I wanted to buy two so I had a spare in case I lost another one. They said they would send me two covers for no charge. They showed up in about a week. Awesome!
