Age and Handicap

Recommended Posts

Age: 38

Handicap: 8.0, soon to be +7.3 as soon as I learn to be a better ball striker and putter and improve my short game

Career ambition: once make above noted improvements, play in final round of major with Tiger and show Sergio that you can be graceful and actually beat Tiger.

If that ambition fails, work in an office for little money and try to play when my wife lets me.

I should clarify my handicap above....

I WOULD be a +7.3 already but I get all this bad luck. The ball does not go where I want it to off the tee, my putts do not go in every time, I have to wait before hitting a shot sometimes, and sometimes the wind blows my ball where I did not want it to go! Even worse, sometimes the ball does not bounce exactly how I envisioned it.

If not for all that bad luck, I would aready be beating Tiger.

I am about to publish my book "How to Never Miss a Shot and Still Have an 8.0 Index"

i dont know if this is sarcasm or not but im pretty sure you dont drop 15 shots a round due to luck.

It said you make your own look.

was following similar mental approach to a somewhat famous golfer who seemed to have some self-described 'bad luck' on Sunday in a certain tournament.

Handicaps are only as good as those posting them. Some people only post there good scores some never post there good scores.

I post every round I play

I am 58 and a 5 from the back tees at my club I think I am a 4.2 or something like that from the whites which i hardly ever play.

My ambition for golf

Lol retirement so I can play more.

Age: 16

Handicap: 2-21 i have so many streaks of good and bad its not funny

last month i played 5 days straight and shot 72,70,74,68,71

next week same course 97,88,89,101,92

it gets to me sometime because i know i can be a really good golfer but then i just think how its just a game and to just keep playing

how can you go from 68 to 101 in a week this seems preposterous

I am 47, my handicap on the board is in the low teens. But I play out of a club that has the biggest gambling tournament in the state of Kentucky USA. If you dont cheat on your handicap then u get run over. EXAMPLE The member guest was won by a 70 year old guy with a 13 handicap. He shot 74 on the last day from the Middle tee's. If you dont have a desire to play in amateur tourney's and u gamble at golf. (I see no other reason for INCENTIVE in the game) Then you will get run over carrying a 4.1 handicap honestly. Try playing low ball, low total, birdie, all three is another point, then greenie sandie, woodie. For a dollar a point with automatic 2 down presses. OH and the one i love the best. IS the IN THE AIR PRESS. If you are down and the guys ball is going out of bounds or the deep woods, if you holler press before it hits the ground. Then the game is on. Oh and we always play 25 dollar hole in ones. So I am retired, and dont want a low handicap. Best of luck to all of the young men that have mentioned the great expectations for your life. I truly hope that everyone of you achieves it.
