Item sold at auction now for sale but not by the auction winner

Same marking on the foot of the photo too, it's almost like someone has stolen that user ID in Germany and done a copycat auction.

Having said that, not many "buyers" have the same seller name, I know I don't. Different country is strange though ???? New seller looks to have never sold golf clubs from the few I flicked through.

The auction from the person in Germany is no longer there and this gets listed from someone in Jersey today. Same putter from 3 different sellers. Definitely something not right going on here.

When an auction says "Email Me at..." that's generally a bad sign. Usually means a hijacked account.

Something's gotta be weird if the one auction ends at over $2,000 and another identical one has not even been bid on yet. That seems a little weird to me at least.

Just for giggles I e-mailed the guy. He is rejecting all bids less than $1000.00. In order to win the auction the only payment he will except is Western Union and the money has to go to his associates account in London England.

This is just way to fishy for me. My recommendation is to stay away.

I also emailed the seller, but not about bidding. Did not get a response. Sounds like a hijacked account. Emailed Ebay about this and hope they shut it down before anyone gets taken. He has multiple auctions going. Definitely stay away.

Hey guys. I have reported this 5 times yesterday and 5 more today to ebay. They are stolen and hijacked accounts. When he gets the auctions removed, he goes into a different account and relists them all again. One of my Bettinardi collectors has made up a warning auction here: http://cgi.ebay.com/CAMERON-BETTINARDI-TOU...1QQcmdZViewItem. Do not bid as it is a SCAM. He will take your money and you will never receive any product. If you notice, all auctions are 24 hours and the categories don't even match what is being sold. I always look out for people. So please stay away from these people. Kinda looks like he's trying to create an over inflated market for an item he has. List it and have it go for some huge price (That you of course win), then list it again to help create a demand.

He actually does not even have the product. He is stealing peoples identity and stealing past auction pictures and descriptions and making an auction out of it. He is trying to have you pay him directly and you will never receive the product. Everyone, please stay away from these people and please report it to ebay.

This is the 3rd round of the same auctions today with different sellers. It is not the actual sellers fault as people are breaking into their system and using their information to put auctions on under their ebay name with other peoples pictures and descriptions. It is a guy overseas doing this. Just keep reporting it to ebay. That is all we can do unfortunately.

Hehe! I happened to be on line at the time that they pulled the auction offline (23 Feb 06 @ 12:15a). I was in the process of sending Ebay another complaint and when I went back to the auction to get an bit of information and that auction was killed. Up to that time he had 18 hours and 21 minutes to go.

There are people who are doing their jobs so it would seem.

This guys has tried everyday to list auctions with hijacked accounts. He's currently trying again. The email in the auction description is [email protected]. Report it to Ebay if see an auction requesting contact thru that email address. He's not just listing golf items.

I know. Two of my customers as well as myself have reported him over 10 times in 3 days. The category does not even match what he is selling. We get him kicked off and then he hijacks another account.
