Used the HX Hot Plus yet?

nope not yet but if they are anything like last years model then i will stay well away from them because they feel like range balls to me.

I am interested in this ball but it is too cold outside. Anyone know anything about this ball?

i'm gonna assume it's pretty just last year's model repackaged. I couls be worng though. I also thought that last year's was a top flite with hex dimples.

My understanding is that they are a cross between the HX Hot Bite and the Hot to increase durability. The Hot Bite (very soft and SHREDS) is a good ball but you need a few just to get through 9 holes. IMO

I agree. If you read the description it reads almost exactly like the 07/08 HX Hot.

I liked the Bite, but it does shred easily. I hope the Plus will be similair to the E5+, which is my ball of choice.

Agreed - I liked the ball, but found the HX Tour 56 to be a much better deal since I could play one ball for an entire round while the Bite bit it after a few holes. The E5+ gets scuffed easily, but it's mostly cosmetic - not hairs to scrape off after every wedge shot like the Bite.

My son has been playing them and he played the E5+ previously. He says the Callys are a touch bit longer with a slightly lower trajectory. He thought feel and spin were about the same.
