Miura Blades vs Scratch Blades

Thinking of pulling the trigger on one set. What are the differences? Which would or do you prefer for feel, workability and forgiveness?

I personally think that the Miura's "feel" lighter and more muted than a scratch blade. Both are great clubs though... you cant go wrong with either.

My son plays the Miura blades, he tried the Scratch set but went back toe the Miura as their forging in his opinion are the best bar none. I played both sets and the feel of the Miura are perfect when you find the sweet spot and an off center hit is IMO more forgiving with the Miura blades.

Don't get me wrong both are very well made tools.

I went with the Miura. Overwhelmingly people all over said the same as stated here. Hard to beat the Miura. Have not received them yet.

After having played the Miura CB1006 (JDM Players Cavity back) for a year, I took the plunge and had a set (5 to PW) of the MB5003 Blades made for me, reasoning that if I found them too demanding I could always just look at them because they are so beautiful! I have owned them for nearly a year now and can honestly say that they are the purest, sweetest clubs I have ever owned, and they have helped me to reduce my handicap despite recovering from a serious injury which looked like it may stop me playing for ever!

I have demo'd the Scratch Blades and thought that they too were a very nice club, not as soft feeling as the Miura's, but with a similar balance, workability and performance. Whichever you choose, if you are a good ball striker, you will not be disapointed - ENJOY!
