Now I'm not sure if everyone knew this already, but I just saw the HiBore at golfsmith.com.

Anyone know if its the V2 65 or 75 that will be offered with the HiBore?

At first I thought that was the ugliest driver I've ever seen but I am slowly coming around. Maybe I should give it a try.

Has anyone ever made an international order from Golfsmith? I am in the U.K. and would just be worried about imprt duty and how much it would be.

The standard offering of the hi-bore is the v2 65.

I ordered clubs from golfsmith. I'm from germany and I had to pay 16% taxes of the whole amount. But the order went very well so you can order the hi-bore without worries.

To import golf clubs to the UK, you have to pay 2.7% duty and then 17.5% VAT. From reading the Customs and Excise website, this is charged on the total value of what you bought including shipping costs. You may also have to pay a Royal Mail fee of some sort (again, according the HMRC website, but they don't say how this is charged). So, add at least 21% to the total price you would pay from Golfsmith. Having done the sums (roughly) I reckon it came to about £315 to £320, against a planned MSRP here of £329. So it seems the only advantage of going the Golfsmith route would be to get it a lot sooner than through 'official' channels here - which is a big deal in my book as I am left handed and would otherwise be looking at June delivery probably!

I don't believe the ship international but, DiscountDansGolf.com has been taking orders at better prices...
