UK Stolen Clubs (Glasgow)

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place.

Woke up this morning to find my car unlocked - clubs gone.

I think someone tried to fish my keys from my front door (first time in ages i've ever left them in the front door - normally they get left half way up the stairs, but fell asleep on the couch, and forgot) as the keys were lying on the floor this morning. (not a place i would ever leave them)

Anyway if you guys (especially around Glasgow) could keep an eye out for:

Miura 3 Wood 15* with Fujikura Speed 896 with Golf Pride NDMC grip
Sonartec HB001 19* with Ozik Altus Hybrid with Yellow Golf Pride NDMC grip
Miura CB202 3-PW with Black Gold Shafts and Baby Blue Golf Pride NDMC grips
Miura Black Wedges 52/56/60 with Black Gold Shafts and Baby Blue Golf Pride NDMC grips
C&L Putter with "RIL" & "2008" stamped on it

Obviously clubs aren't the most common around, so should be easy to spot if you see them on ebay or gumtree or even in the pub.

BTW - as for claiming insurance. I had specific contents insurance for my clubs, but as they were in my car, they are only covered to normal limit which no way covers cost of replacement. Further i've checked how making a claim would affect my premium on CompareTheMarket (will use others later) and the premium goes from £350 to £1350!! Hardly worth claiming.

Bummer, not what I want to hear as I have moved to Glasgow recently, only first year at uni though and my clubs are hardly being used :(. Where do you play around here?

Oh huge bummer, that is some good stuff aswell and the galvin just to be the cherry on top. Really have to watch out for those glasgow neds lol. Just a small idea but just keep checking the local papers and gumtree.com might get lucky. I know a guy who had the exact same thing happened then 3 weeks later his wife saw them at a car bootsale. Hope it works out for you!!

They will be pretty difficult to shift (and realise their value) for your average ned, they would pretty obvious on gumtree, ebay etc, so it will have to be a pub sale etc, or an attempt to sell them at a pro shop.

 

I wouldn't get your hopes up, but my fingers are crossed for you.
