Anyone Play it Yet?

For reasons I don't understand (but will gladly accept), I just got 2 sleeves of Nike One Tour's in the mail. The sleeves are kind of maroon.

What is the target market for this ball? I liked the One Plantinum and want to have an idea how it compares.

Haha. I just got back from Dick's with two sleeves too. Some guy handed them out. Apparently my 5500 spin rate with teh speedline convinced him I needed these or something.

 

These are supposed to pretty much be the NIke One Platinum from what the guy there told me when I asked what they were comparable to. I really have no idea about Nike Golf products, so I don't know if that is true or not.

It's nike's new line, the one platinum is discontinued, they now have One Tour, One Tour D, One Vapor

I wrote this on another thread, but I hate this ball so much I'm going to say it again. This ball performs like a nike ignite with a less durable cover. It sucks. Having said that, it might be ok for someone who uses a RX330 type ball, but I'd stick with the bridgestone if it were me.

Which one did you try?? The vapor is the ignite replacement and what you probably tried. The others are 4 peice top level balls that will perform as good as any other on the market. Just dont batch them all together ...altho the packaging is tough to differentiate and it almost serves them right...

Nah man, I tried the tour in the maroon box. I thought I'd love this ball, I really like the one platinum, though my favorite balls right now are the tour ix and prov1x. I was just really disappointed. The reason I say it was like the ignite was because someone gave me a box of ignites that I played for a few days before, so I could really compare performance.

Tour feels like a dead ball . Last years NOP was a better ball IMO .

I liked the ball. Don't know what you guys didn't like. It performed similar to the NOP but flew further and stopped faster on greens. Felt good off the irons and wedges. I play the V1x and before that the TM Red.
