Scottsdale - What's to do after golf?

There's lots of debate on where to play golf in Scottsdale but does anyone know where the cool places are after golf?

Depends on how old you are. If you are younger and looking for fun....and when I say fun I mean the best time of your life seeing the hottest women ever then hit Old Town Scottsdale. The party at the W Hotel outdoor bar is absolutely ridiculous. There are also a ton of restaurants down there. Try a place called "Stax". Its a gourmet burger joint and really good. I have been to Scottsdale the past 2 weekends and I refuse to go back because it gets me depressed when I come home. Ha! Ha!

if you're younger, Tempe just down the road has a great street with all kinds of bars/restaurants.... mill ave??

 

it's really close to ASU, so you can expect a college type crowd which may or may not be your thing

If your younger ie 21-30 or so Old Town is the spot. There are a couple mega clubs Axis/Radius, and Myst both highly overrated in my opinion, There are a bunch of smaller lounge type places that can be pretty cool on the right night, p***y Cat Lounge, Dirty Pretty, The W Hotel, Suede, Devils Martini and Six.

This time of year Sundays at the pool of one of the higher end hotels are always packed IE the Mondrain, the W and The Valley Ho (no pun intended ;) )

 

If you dont want something so upscale and pricey there is the ultimate dive bar in the Coach House, or there is a spot called Mickeys Hangover that is always fun to hang out at and has fantastic pizza. Also Cant forget day drinking on a saturday or sunday at Dos Gringos in Old Town Scottsdale

 

If your a bit older and staying in North Scottsdale, Devils Martini North (Scottsdale and Shea) and Barcelona are the places to be.

 

For Dinner Mastro's or City Hall (owned by the same guy) are must eat for some of the best steak ever.

 

I dont go out all that much anymore hahahaha you wouldnt know it by that list, but if there is one thing the valley is not short on its golf courses good looking women and nightlife.

Thanks guys. Old Town sounds like the place to go. Definitely looking for some fun but I'm going with the girlfriend and staying in north Scottsdale. We're coming from NY and unfortunately she doesn't want to stay in another "city" setting.

 

W's are always a "convention" party. If the Mondrain is anything like the one in LA then that's a must.
