I have the stiff shaft in Maltby ct-250 Hybrid 16 degree head. Distance is longer than my 3 wood approx. 230 yards carry, accuracy is very good - fairway finder.

I've just put this in my Ping G5 22* hybrid. It's definitely added extra distance from the tee (if required) compared to the NV85 that was in it previously - it's also alot more accurate, with less misses to the left.

The butt section is a bit wider than most shafts. It has a diameter of .610 so Callaway grips are probably your best bet. Anyone know of any other .610 core grips?

I picked up a TM Rescue Dual TP 22 degree hybrid with this shaft installed. Was skeptical at first not being familar with the Accuflex brand, but this shaft rocks! Distance seems better than my rescue mid (non TP) with Aldila NV hybrid shaft, dispersion is tighter (this is probably as much attributable to the club head in my case as anything), and the feel is great. If I pick up another loft a TM rescue dual, I'll be putting this shaft on it.

When I first had this shaft installed in my 3 wood I really liked it. It was very smooth and felt great. However, the more I played it, the more inconsistent it was. End result, 3 wood sold on eBay....

Put this in a Ping G5 22* Hybrid and it is smooth as silk. It replaced a NV 85 R which I was hooking too often, the Regular Icon HL solved this. Length. control and confidence have increased with this shaft. I recommend getting a undersize grip as the butt section is fairly wide.

I have this shaft in two Mizuno hybrids and really like them. I have the S shaft which supposedly plays a little stiffer than flex. My best driver swing speed is 100 mph, and probably could have purchased an R shaft. However, I am hitting the S plenty long and very straight. I now have 4 Accuflex shafts in my bag, all PUREd, and have no complaints. According to the PURE test results, all 4 shafts are nearly symmetrical - I probably did not need to have them PUREd. I also recommend matching with Mizuno hybrids and woods - good combination!
