All clubs have the awesome grips that are Lamkin Crosslines (with homemade ribs/reminder in the irons).

Most of the clubs are second hand (5-wood, putters, wedges were bought new). I removed all of the paintfill from the irons as well as the 5-wood. I also removed the white paintfill in the sight line of the Rife putter.

Thanks!

Unfortunately I cant comment on the Rife......its only a week old and hasnt been christened on grass yet - just the carpet.

It is the first anser style I've played and with the Ping Grip it feels so good. I am certain that I wont be shelling out for a long time - hoping that I'll game the hell out of this Tiger style. But only time shall tell! The hallowed grass in St Andrews shall be blessing this blade and taking its virginity on Thursday hopefully (if it isnt raining), so not a bad place to start out a career!

Love it loads right now. Think I made a great choice.

Are the nikes Supposed to be chromed out? I mean I've seen many, many sets with that look - is the paint weak or something?

I've used a sanding block just to take the high shine out of the irons. I also removed all of the paintfill, think it looks cooler that way.

The Nikes look mint because they have only been used once.....in September 08! Havent got access to a course during the winter. I did actually buy them second hand, but they were in great condition at the time.

so i checked out your swing link and your swing looks very nice -- is there a reason you prefer the regular flex shafts in the woods and irons -- i ask because i played r flex for quite some time while having a quicker swing speed and then eventually went away from it for control reasons

nice bag by the way i agree the nike blades look better in the satin type finish

Hey mate. Thanks for the comments.

To give you the honest truth. I dont have a fast swing and grew up reading magazines constantly saying that people commonly play too stiff of a flex; so I thought I should play regulars!

However, the more I play with these clubs the more I think every club should have stiff shafts in. I would definitely like some more control, like you said. I have noticed that I have quite a weak ball flight. I like the trajectory, not too high, but I would like a more penetrating/fizzing ball flight. Also, the driver and 3-wood shafts seem really whippy, and would appreciate some control.

Only problem stopping me having S-flex shafts: MONEY! I think i'll make sure my whole set is kitted with stiff shafts when I get the chance to invest!

My friend who gets help from Nike said he'd give me his current Vr blades with S300's, so hopefully he gets on that and we can see what difference it makes!

Thanks!

Great looking clubs and nice swing too. I was thinking about picking up a set of those Nike blades myself at one point. If the regular flex is hurting your game, definitely give stiff a shot or maybe even hardstepping the regulars.

Again, thanks for the comments guys.

I really do like the Nike blades, and because I dont play often the heads are still in awesome shape. After going to the range yesterday I really do think I could benefit from some stiffer shafts. I was swinging well yesterday but my ball flight just seemed so weak. So if I managed to get some money in the future I would definitely consider getting some shafts. However, if I've got to pay for shafts, installation and grips I may just look into some new irons. So hopefully my friend will pull through and send me his old Vr's with S300's, which are also 2 deg flat; which i expect would be better for me because of my height.

As for my woods, I absolutely adore the heads. So I think a shaft swap would be more appropriate. I'd also like to lose an inch in length on my 5 wood (not a euphemism, will take all the inches I can get!). Again, hopefully I may get a bit of money next year so do this. But right now, that doesnt look like it's going to happen.

So, if there is anyone out there with some free S300's, NV-65 and NV-75 S floating around, and likes to donate.......I would be ravagingly appreciative!

In the mean time, i'll try and improve my striking to get some control.
