Need help from the Srixon players

I'm currently considering going to the Srixon I-506 irons with Project X shafts. I currently play the Ben Hogan FTX, which are great irons, but I'm looking for just a little more forgiveness, especially in the long irons. I've heard great things about Srixon irons, but they are one of the very few clubs I haven't tried/owned in the past. Just hoping those of you who play or have tried the I-506 could give your thoughts, especially with regards to the forgiveness. I currently play to a 3 handicap, but haven't been getting to play as much as I would like. I've been also considering the X-Tours, but I'm not a big fan of the thicker top line. My club can order the Srixon's, but unfortunately, they don't keep them on hand or have demos, so I'm relying on any help you guys can provide. Thanks.

I've not actually tried the 506 but have heard good reports though!

Hi.

Have had a set of I-506 irons with NS PRO 950 shafts stiff flex now for one month and am completely satisfied with them.

Play to about a 1 hcp as I don't get much time to play and so needed a set that are easy to use but still get the ball on a proper trajectory which these do! Can still work the ball with the additional bonus that mishits are covered up but still have the necessary feedback to correct the next time (time permitting!)

For me one of the best irons out there and have tried well not all of them but most! I guess they just fit me but would recommend that you try them out; it is an investment after all.........
