I need help selecting a golf ball!

I have been playing the Pro V1's for quite a few years now, but apparently a switch is needed. I have always had a very steep swing. I hit down on the ball very hard, and produce quite a large divot. I have always spun balls on the green, or they bite rather quick. I am guessing it's b/c of the new irons and wedges I am using this year, but my balls are spinning like crazy. I hit a ball in the middle of the green, and the stinkin thing is spinning 30 feet off onto the front fringe. I try and take a more relaxed swing, and play one more club, and they still are spinning WAY too much. My swing and ball of choice hasn't changed over the last few years, only my irons and wedges. Since I am not going to get rid of those, I figured I should probably go with a different ball that doesn't spin quite as much as the Pro V1.

Can anyone make some suggestions for me? I do like the softer feel ball, particularly when I am putting. I don't keep up with all the latest equipment, so I am really clueless on what to go out and try.

Bridgestone B330S or B330 would be an idea.

Try the Bridgestone E5+.... they have a soft responsive feel, and spin less than a proV1.

I really like the Cally Tour IX, and feels soft, not as soft as TOUR I, but really good on the putter too.

I have been using pro v1's for several years now myself. This morning the proshop was out of prov1's and I decided to buy a sleeve of Bridgestones. I picked up the E6+ and wow!!! was this a nice feeling golfball. I really love the way it flies for me. I also hit down on the ball and take a nice divot. Not sure what the difference is between the E5 and E6 but I really like how the E6+ reacted today. I think I have found me a new golf ball at half the price of prov1's.

If you actually read the OP's post, you would realize that he wants to switch from the ProV1 since it produces too much spin. Please read before you respond.
