Odyssey Tour Authentic 2 ball

I have been looking for one for a while very hard to find, TGW has them on their site but if you call them they are back ordered for 3 weeks. I finally found one on the bay for a reasonable price of $175 shipped. Has anybody used this putter and feedback would be great. thanks.

Well, for me, I find the face insert uhh..... mushy. I know others who have Odysseys and think then opposite. Just my 2 cents.

Well I don't know about the TA one.... But the only Odyessys I liked were the ones with all steel inserts. But the all white one is mushy for me.

So what you're saying is you haven't used the putter thats being asked about, which is firmer than all of the other white ones that they make...

I like the insert on my Black i-series #1, but I also like insert putters. If you're into lots of feedback and a click at impact, then you'll want something else. But the black insert is definitely firmer than the XG insert.

Correct, I am talking about a Tour Authentic putter, TGW has them online, I will post pics once my comes.

I have one and love it. The weight is perfect and for the insert just right. No mushy feel and great feedback.

I thought I read here that the TA and the black series had the same insert..if that is the case, Do you guys think the feel is different between the two putters? Is the TA 360 grams vs the Black series with 350g?

I had a TA 2-ball and was very dissapointed in the putter for several reasons. The insert even though they claim has a more firm "tour" feel, still feels less then solid to me. Not as mushy as regular white hot, but not as firm as DFX insert. Also, the finish on the putter was said to be more of an oil look on the website, when mine arrived it looked more bronze gold colored. I was expecting more of a brownish, not goldish but no one has them in stock so couldnt tell without ordering. My last gripe is came with regular 2ball headcover, nothing special paying the higher price. Overall I have to save poor effort from Callaway on this TA 2-ball.
