Well I already have one of the original TaylorMade Spiders - I brought it on release week and haven't looked back since, it's a great putter.

But the reason I'd like a new one is that someone stole the headcover not long after I brought it.

Now, i'm not fussed about headcovers but the trouble is, I play all my golf over here in the UK which invariably means 4 hours of cold golf in the rain and wind 2-3 times a week, and the poor Spider has suffered terribly!! As a result my poor little Spider is very battered and bruised and looks about 20 years old.

I have even taken him abroad to Portgual, and to Spain this year in the hope of showing him some sunkissed greens, but would you believe it rained on both occasions for 3 days solid.

My wife could really use that putter. She had a snow skiing accident this winter and she completely tore her ACL, MCL, and PCL... The three lines would be a nice reminder for her and a nice upgrade to her two ball. She is currently playing and is back on her woman's team league. She wears a DonJoy knee brace and walks 9 holes a couple times a week.... a truly remarkable comeback...

The Itsy-Bisty Spider went to the putting green.
Stroke at the ball was the best I'd ever seen.
Out came the marker and lined the ball to drain.
Then the Itsy-Bitsy Spider got the call again.

I would really like to win this putter because it would be pretty awesome to have a piece of tour used equipment. I am usually partial to blade style putters, but I would definitely roll it for a while and carry it no matter what for a conversation piece, haha.

I love the looks of the spider!!
I currently have an itsy bitsy spider and I really wished I would have picked up the full version as the itsy bitsy is just a little to small for me.
I always thought that the basketball court design was a little flawed and prefer the 3 lines.

The reason I want this putter, is not actually for me, but for my father. He had a spider, when I was about 12 years old. He sold it to replace my first set of clubs, because they were stolen. He was trying to save up to for a new one, but had to use that money for bills when he got layed off. He now has a job, but I doubt he will save enough for a new one any time soon.

The spyder is an absolutely amazing putter. I had one, and unfortunately let it get away. The only knock I had on it were the basket alignments, now without those, this beauty is perfect!

I've been craving a new putter, and Matthew Goggin is a golfer who I have recently been following on tour, great guy with some amazing talent.

This is the only spider I wouldn't squish if it was next to me, all other spiders: toast.
