I would like the Version B - because it would be nice for once to feel like a tour pro and to be treated like one and to have clubs made to your exact specs. Also to have an actual set of Tour Issued clubs not made for the public is unique all in itself vs. playing with clubs that are not to my specs because I bought my current clubs from a friend do to the cheap price.

I am sure that my game will improve (with some practice) with these new set of sticks that gives the individual the latest technology at their finger tips. I may not ever be any where close to playing to a single digit but I at least I can try with an latest and greatest set clubs by one of the top manufacturers in the game. :good:

Thanks!

ps. even if I don't win, as always golfwrx has the coolest contest and the best forum around period!!

Hi, I bought a set of Tour Burner late 2008 and had them custom fitted, added half an inch and adjusteed the lie +1 and midzize grip. Ten days later recieved them from the UK and immediately went to the driving range to get started wtih the new clubs but something felt wrong, couldnt believe my swing had disappeared in ten days. Went back to the store and they measured the clubs...Ooups..the lie was +4!! The store instructed the the local clubbuilder to try and adjust the clubs aas much as possible. Got them back, wasn´t satisfied so I went to another store and the did a new measurement and now all clubs more or less hade the same lie (63,5). Finanlly the were sent to a auth. Taylormade service center and adjusted and are now standard lie. To in short, my first experience with TaylorMade was a bit dissapointing and althoug the Tour Burners are great clubs I would love to try these out and maybe this time it will result in that great feeling of cracking open the "box" and hitting a set of new and great clubs!

I'm currently gaming Callaways because their technical marketing speaks to my inner Engineer. I think TM is now starting to speak to my inner Engineer too with the "The Set is Dead" marketing. Winning one of these sets would give me the chance to try them side by side. I'll even do my own Engineering/scientific analysis and report back to the group what I find....just gotta give me a chance to play one of these sets!

Man I sure would love these irons. I have been playing blades since college...about 15 years ago...and needless to say I don't get to play near as much as then. I have been drooling over these irons since they came out, but "Mama" has not put them into the budget. I could definitely wear out either set but the "tour version" is right up my alley. Thanks Golfwrx and TaylorMade for offering these up.

I have always been a Taylormade woods player. My first driver was the Pittssburg Persimmon. (Even listed it as the longest driver I ever played in a thread here). My all time favorite fairway wood the 13* Tour Cleek belongs in the golf club hall of fame. Currently game a 425 tp. (Also a candidate for the hall). Along with a 19 & 22* rescue mid TP. (Tried all the other Hybrids. The mids are the first, the last, the everything). I have never considered the Irons up till now. I have been looking for a new set and have fallen for the Burner. Alas the kids are in college and the Cobra's wearing thin in the bag. Sure would be nice to have the the privledge of strutting about with the prom queen. TM has become the trademark of the game.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
