Here is my 2012 gamers.

Driver - 10.5* Titleist D2, set at C2, sporting a 60 g X-Stiff Aldila RIP Alpha.

3-Wood - 13.5* Titleist 909f2, with a Stiff Aldila Voodoo made for Titleist

Hybrid - 17* Titleist 909H, with a Graphite Design Tour AD-YSQ 85g Stiff shaft

Irons - Taylormade Tour Preferred, set at 2 - 4* flat, with Dymanic Gold s300

Gap Wedge - 52* Taylormade TP xFT With a KBS Wedge Flex

Sand/Lob - 58* Taylormade RAC TP Z with Dynamic Gold s400.

Putter - Scotty Cameron California Del Mar, 33'

All my clubs have NDMC white grips, and my putter has a white Iomic grip.

My 3 wood head cover is a Redbird, my Alma Mater from Illinois State University.

Driver head cover is the Geico Caveman!

good solid bag! hows the monster treating you? I've been curious about that driver since seeing the size of it in a local shop.

I love it. I had the original hibore prior to that, and a nike before that. This is the best driver I've owned. My shots are straighter, i don't have as many balloons, and I've had many drives that are sniffing the 300 yard mark. My really good shots put me about 280 - 290, but usually about 260 ish when it's straight. The monster was too big, so I went with the Tour model for a little bit more of an open face and it definitely isn't as big.

Thanks. Hopefully once I get better I can get a better player's iron, but for now they have really helped my game. I'm thinking about putting some better shafts in them. In my 3 and 4 iron I have s300s but the 5 - p are the stock shaft for those clubs. Some shaft made especially for the CG Golds i believe. I was thinking the 6.5 project x or the royal precision 6.5s. I hit them both pretty well.

I am thinking I might put some more. I like the heavier feel of the putter. I was practicing with some Scotty's at the driving range and I was hitting them so short. I am used to a smaller backswing on the putter now. it's great. It keeps my hands aligned better and my putter face more square with more weight. I didn't get the heavy putter because it's too heavy. and it isn't heavy in all the right places for me. [attachment=486849:P1010433.JPG]

Hey madjsp, got your pm re the C&L. I cant reply to pm via cell so i thought to get back to you quickly i would post in here. Anyways the C&L was a terrific purchase for me i believe it was just short of $300 done the way I wanted. Lee aka hoganapex on wrx was terrific to work with. I also have a sunset beach that is a very nice putter but my C&L takes the cake and wont be leaving my bag anytime soon. Of the choices you mentioned i would highly suggest going with the C&L. Please let me know if you have any other questions. btw nice set of sticks. If you want to see pics of my putter and the sunset check my witb link. Matt

That putter is beautiful. I think that I will look into them and see what I can come up with. I've rolled a scotty and it seems that as soon as it leaves the club face it is rolling. I think C&L would probably do the same! Thanks for the info!

The C&L feels better than a scotty imo. Gets the ball rolling great. It was cheaper than an retail scotty and done the way i want. Well worth it. Btw you asked about my phone, its an lg dare through verizon. Thanks for the comments about my putter

I didn't know that the LG had a full browser that allowed forums like this? Cool. Most of the people I know that browse the internet like this are on unlocked phones, and sometimes blackberries if their OS can handle it.

I will definitely look into the C&L putter. Do you prefer a floating or non-floating face? also, my putter has an insert. Which face would have the feel of an insert?

I have putted with both models, and the floating face is a bit clickier and provides a bit more feedback which i really like. I was not sure which to get but I told Lee what I was looking for he suggested the floating face and I am glad i took his advice.From my memory of putting with insert putters like feel is more solid and more responsive especially on lag putting. With the dare i can browse the forums and use the quick reply function to reply to posts but i dont have full functionality like to quote, or reply to pm etc. Since we cant use the web at work it makes time go by faster.

not too shabby. I will see if i can find some retail putters with the floating face and see what i can come up with. Now i want a new putter. Haha.

I am on my phone a lot too but thankfully it has a full browser and allows me to use some of the reply functions. I am surprised that this thread loaded so fast with all my witb pictures. I love 3g.

I love the course. It is a great course. It isn't that hard, but there are some real tough holes that make you choose one thing or another!
