uPro upgrades and accessories

Santa is bringing me a uPro! Ho Ho Ho...

 

I used to hear more about the upgrades coming like voice recognition and scorecard. Have these arrived yet?

 

Any good accessories? I hate the white rubber case/skin...

 

Anyone care to post the best settings to sustain power the longest?

No timetable on the stats/scorecard/voice upgrades. They continuously pushed back their delivery date and now don't return any inquiries related to it. Customer service has gotten worse, but fortunately the course database in my area is excellent.

I use the rubber case and actually like it, which was surprising. I normally hate those silicone cases. I put a zagg screen protector on it and that actually helped it in the sunlight
I haven't changed the settings at all from factory and can get two full 18 hole rounds out of it, but I have thought about getting another battery to keep in the bag.

Its a good toy. Enjoy.

+1 on the spare battery. I get two rounds out of the battery with mostly standard settings (I have the backlight turned down a notch or two). I bought the spare battery and the black ballistic nylon uPro case - there is a little zipper pocket in the case for a spare battery.

thanks to you both! the zagg case... do they make one specific for upro or do u need to cut up an iphone one or something like that?

Zagg makes a shield for the uPro. It's screen only. I prefer the shield from Skullcandy Bodyguardz - completely transparent and smooth as glass, and I've never been able to scratch one (have them on my phone, iPod, and uPro). They don't make one specific to the uPro so I just cut it to size myself. The screen's 47mm x 36mm. It's a tight fit but goes in with very little effort. Best part is I've also never had to replace a Bodyguarz shield even though they have a lifetime warranty. I don't know if the warranty would apply since this one's being altered, but I don't care because the shield will probably outlast the unit.

I also have a couple electronics with Zagg. Zaggs are durable, but they are not as glass smooth as Bodyguardz.
