Has anyone played the Miura "Y" or "C" wedges?

I am looking for a New set of wedges and like the look of the new Miura wedges The 1957 Y and C series. Just wondering has anyone had the privalage of playing these?

 

I am currently playing Vokey wedges.

I am blessed with the chance to own a 56/9 C wedge from Miura.
Miura translated into english is butter. That's probably all you will feel. Feedback wise, I think the Vokey provide better.

I found the spin to be roughly the same, if not better on the vokeys.

i have owned every wedge out there from chikara to skydream. i now play the chikara y grind 50 and 60 which is described perfectly as butter. they spin just fine depending on the ball you use. also play the skydream jump proto 56 sw and it also is fabulous.

I play a Miura Satin 60, you don't need to spin this club; just let it roll out. It will play how you want it too, I have a 52 and 56 vega gold wedges that I can spin back to my feet when required. Use different clubs for different shots. But the Miura wedge is the dogs .....

You were referring to the 57 Yosh Y wedges?

I am leaning towards Scratch 1018 instead but would love to get to the Y grind Miuras (as I am getting an iron set of probably 57 Baby's).

Go with the Miura Y & C grind. You won't regret it.

Can dealers in the US get the 'ghenji' raw oxide wedges? I need an aggressive C grind, down to 3* of bounce so basically grinding all of the trailing edge away.

back to chikara 50 and 60 degree original proto with double punched grooves.
