Small update for the wedge pics on 1st page.

So after seeing Finalist's divot art I decided my club at it (see what i did there?). Obviously its pretty easy to tell what it is but just to make sure, its the face of Colombian coffee Donkey model. Sadly in the midst of making this work of art, I started spraying my 7 iron everywhere, to my dismay I found out the shaft is bowed/bent =*(.

I see a competition brewing! My new wedges arrive tomorrow and the turf art will be good.

Something from Saul Bass' early career work? Perhaps the iconic Quaker Oats logo, or a well kerned type solution? Remember the old design adage, "Great ideas are a dime a dozen. Execution is what counts."

It is the puma formation stand bag, Durability is good, I throw it around everywhere, Clubs go in and out with ease for the most part, though I went to some ultra tacky No1 grips and it is sometimes tricky to get a club in and out. I like it, and get a lot of compliments from it also,



In other news my swing is coming along pretty nicely on the range, I have increase my distances tremendously, with every club. Right now Im trying to flight my wedges reliably. Notice I said I hit it pretty nicely on the range. When i get to the course all hell breaks lose. I can usually put my drives together through my rounds, sometime losing some left, but when it comes to my irons I cannot make good contact, My dad says I should see a psychiatrist lol, as he witnesses me flushing shot after shot on the range. This has been going on for the past month and a half. Not sure If I get so tense or what but I hope I figure it out soon, because hitting it on the range like a single digit on the range and going on the course and hitting it like a 20 handicap is irritating me.

No new equipment for me, although Id like to get a new putter. I was practicing with my nike method 001 which was going nicely until my kids bent the plumbers neck so it now has a radius in the middle... Im not sure that can be fixed.. im still trying to figure out how it happened, but I was putting a nice true roll with it, so as of now I am still using my Bettinardi, which is a solid putter but i tend to pull and push a lot of putts.

Oh the joys of winter in Michigan,

I have a sickness and I need help. I have this urge to see if a more forgiving club might benefit me.. I have a set of Vr Pro combo heads... But I don't know what to do, Other than a pulling issue I have developed, i still hit my blades pure, even my long irons. Yet on trackman the dispersion of the vr pro combo was better.... I will probably do more testing but man my wife is going to kill me if I stop using my TD sets ha ha.

What to do?


Also think a putter change is going to be happening real soon also.

What was your inspiration/what did you say to describe the look your irons have from address. They look so perfect, almost exactly how I would want mine to look. The toe and leading edge are perfect.

I am thinking about a set of custom scratch and love the look of yours.
