New 2010 Milled Model

Look what arrived today - brand new 2010 Odyssey Black Tour Designs #2 (anser) model!

Must say these are very impressive putters - fine workmanship, good balance (nice and heavy), sits square and nice solid (but soft) feel off the face. What more could you ask?!!

I'm probably most impressed with the feel - plesantly smooth for a milled putter if not slightly muted thanks to the dampening layer between the milled carbon face and tungsten flange.

Will be able to give a better indication of performance once I have taken out on course... But for now enjoy the pics!

this is definitely an awesome feeling line from odyssey. seemed to feel a little better off the face than my kia ma daytona too.

That is one nice looking putter. Can I ask a huge favor, can you get a close-up shot of the sight-line? I'm curious if the sight line is on the elastomer (polymer piece between the carbon steel and the tungsten flange).

The slight-line does run across the milled section, across the elastomer layer and onto the tungsten flange. I heard it was 'laser engraved' - e.g. it is not engraved into the metal but moreso 'painted' across the top.

Will post a pic of the sight-line when I get a chance.

I appreciate the update. This was pretty heavily discussed with someone else asking if they could remove the sight line. Based on what some of us read, Odyssey indicated it was "laser etched" into the PVD coating. That wouldn't seem to be consistent if the line also extends onto the elastomer. It actually might be beneficial for those looking to remove the line.
