Well I think the last time I've swung a club was when I played 3 rounds in dallas and before that trip it was about a month and a half; however, in true ho-fashion the bag has changed

Here's the setup for 2010... I think the only clubs that might leave the bag are the driver, fairway wood, and the wedges. Other than that, the irons and hybrid will go unchanged. I'm going pretty in depth with this one... Listing lots!!!

-All clubs have white w/ black ring ferrules, white w/black cap Iomic Stickys with 4 extra wraps of tape, and # paint will be either black or white haven't decided.


-Irons and wedges are plus 1" long 2* flat and D4-D5

How are the X-Forged irons compared to the Titleist AP2?

In terms of feel, forgiveness and looks.

I do have my name along with a website logo embroidered on the bag. For conflict of interest I will not post pics of that part of the bag.

I played the 09 X Forged all of last year and I am not going to change them at all. I have hit the AP2's. As for feel, IMHO all top-level forged irons feel the same when struck on the sweet spot (miura's included). As for forgiveness, I thought that the X Forged were a little more forgiving in the long irons. I think that the blade length might be just a Tad Moore longer and that helps with my miss which is on the toe side. I have tried MANY different sets of irons, but have really only played Callaway irons for the last 5 years, so I'm comfortable with the head shape (look) and the AP2's are different.

I'm a cheater and have atleast 15-17 clubs in there at any time ... Usually 3 drivers in there and I'll pick which one I'm gonna use before I tee off

http://www.cell-parts.net/ is where I ordered them from. I'm definitely not doing that again, not until I reshaft something. Lots of work just for some custom ferrules!

Is the X-forged less forgiving than the AP2 but more forgiving than the CB? Maybe a little like Ping S57?

You have no idea! I thought about going down to the show, but would have done nothing but play golf and party. Glad to hear you're doin well! I'll be seeing you in July!

Very cool bag. love the shots sans covers then with. white and black are always nice so the ferrules and covers and...well..just everything...matches and looks sharp. the choices are cool as well for what you went with.
Havent seen a sharper bag posted.....

Really nice setup. That hybrid looks really nice. What type of ballflight and distance do you get out of it? Have you hit the Diamana Thump? If so, are the flight patterns similar?

I'll tell you what, that hybrid is my favorite club in the bag and i HATED hybrids for the longest time! I actually have the 2-iron for this set but that thing won't be in the bag ever again. I picked up 3 backups for this hybrid!
It took me a little while to get used to this club but after half a season it grew on me. They are so playable from any lie and extremely workable. It's ridiculous! First time playing this club my ball was buried in some 3" rough on a par 5 where I swear the mower must have missed and I was about 240 out and had to carry over water for about 200 yards. I said, well, this is what this bad boy is designed for and punched it to about 10 yards short and it trickled on to about 15 feet. I've hit some incredible shots with this thing! As for yardage, everything from 200 yards out (buried in the rough at Harborside into a 30mph wind) and up to 285 out (off the tee as a lay up that still ended up in the darn creek). I have hit the Diamana Thump hybrid shaft and it is a very similar feel to the Infra. The thump felt heavier with a lower initial trajectory, but the Infra was lower spin. It's stamped 16* but is 17* and I'd say my stock yardage with it is about 235 yards.

If you couldn't tell by the long winded write-up i'm for this thing!
