I am definitely a fan. I have been working with Zach @ Scratch golf. He has gone the extra mile every time to answer all of my questions. He is a great example of the professionals @ Scratch golf.

Well, there is an interesting story to tell. I originally bought a set of TTDG Lite S-400 3-PW shafts. I ordered Iomic X-Evolution sky blue/lemon grips. I sent them to Zach at Scratch Golf. I wanted them to be built by somone who really cared about the finished product. Turns out i ordered the wrong shafts. These heads require a .355 tapered tip which i bought. The ebay listing stated set of eight shafts brand new 40" long. Tapered tip shafts come cut for the specific club it goes in. Basically, i bought eight 3 iron shafts. When Zach called me to tell me this info. i was kind of embarassed about my mistake. It wasn't too big of a deal though since i got them shipped for $20. We found two KBS Tour 5.5 shafts for my 3 & 4 irons. Nippon 1050s are going in my 5-PW. So to answer your question here is my setup

Scratch AR-1 Prototypes

3 & 4 KBS Tour 5.5
5-PW Nippon 1050
All shafts are gonna be standard length, standard loft in 5-PW, 3 & 4 bent 1 degree strong, 1 degree flat in all irons
Scratch grips with two wraps of tape
Solid black ferrules with multi-colored rings

Can't wait to get them back next week. I hope i'm not away on travel when they show up.

That's correct I bought them earlier this winter and never had them shafted. There was absolutely nothing wrong with them whatsoever except that I decided to go a different direction, which when I am done with the project I will post some pictures and descriptions. Smokey916 is the guy to get all the answers from on these. I hope they serve you well!

I will have them back next week. It might be a while before i get some good time in with them. This NC weather has been terrible this winter. I have been chipping and doing drills in the backyard. I've been to the range many times, but haven't played a round of golf in 4 months.

Though we can understand your pain there...a few of us may not give you any sympathy regarding weather issues. 12+ inches of snow today here in Chicagoland! Good luck with the sticks bro!

I wouldn't hold your breath. I haven't even got them back yet from Zach. I made a promise to not buy or sell anymore golf equipment this year. I have a setup now that has a great chance of making it.

Ok guys. Just finished my range session and I am very impressed with these irons. The Nippon 1050S shafts are a great combo for these heads. They look and feel amazing. Playing this weekend with some buddies and can't wait to see how they perform on the course.
