Love the FT Tour. It took a bit to get used to it because I was playing a 460 Nike DyMo and a SuMo before that, but the feel and sound are the best that I've ever had with a driver. It's entirely stock:

 

• 9.5º loft
• 56.5º lie
• 440cc
• 1.5º open
• D3 swingweight
• 45" Aldila VooDoo SVS6 60 stiff shaft:

 

I don't have a picture of the grip handy, but it's a Golf Pride Decade Multi Compound cord grip in white.

Great looking set there, Harry. R9's still in the bag, sweet. I love that putter, what do you think of it? I wouldn't think you were a stock headcover guy. Maybe Rocket Tours or illiac. Still very well thought out, especially through the wedges. Thanks.

i have a mizuno/bettinardi C03 putter and wanted to know how that compares to your new BB8? They look the same so i was wondering if you have tried both and if so how do they compare? i am looking to getting a BB8 myself but my C03 has been good to me. i dont think i can justify having 2 very similar putters but looking at your bb8 makes me jealous!

Nah. I'm pretty no-nonsense about stuff like that. If the headcovers work, I'm good. I don't need to be all matchy-matchy when it comes to headcovers.

Very similar. The BB8 comes with Bettinardi's version of the PING Blackout grip, which I don't like. Feels too thin in my hands. I ordered [url="http://www.bettinardi.com/store/accessories/45AG"]a replacement from the Bettinardi website[/url] that is a Winn grip like the one on the C-03. Also, I've noticed that the finish on the heel and toe of the BB8 is showing wear, which is weird because I've been exceptionally careful with it. Headcover only comes off to putt, always wipe it down immediately after use and before putting the headcover back on, and I don't lean on my putter like some people do. The wear is minimal but, nonetheless, it seems premature.

So, I would say that if your C-03 works for you, there is no reason to change.

Yeah, the towel is Burberry Golf (R.I.P.). It's the one "vanity" item on my bag (which sometimes makes me myself), but I just like the contrast with the all black bag.

Still have the BB8. But my girlfriend got me a SC SS NP2 Heavy for my birthday and I love it. The weighting is perfect for me.

Thanks. I'm considering some Vokey wedges in 50/56 (bent to 55)/60, but after that I'm pretty sure I'm done. I may even try to track down some extra Cobra Baffler DWSs just in case.

that is a very nice bag, and when it comes to the putter its all about feel. The r9 irons look very nice and the burberry towel is a nice touch, I own one also. Def try out the vokeys I think you will like them a lot

Looks like the old Nike SuMo SQ will be making a guest appearance in my bag while I make a warranty claim with Callaway:

 

 

 

 

 

 

It happened on the first tee after warming up on the range with no issues (that I noticed.) I hit my tee shot and something didn't feel right even though I thought I hit it on the screws. Driver felt dead and ball went nowhere.

 

I guess the composite sole was weak and the metal face pushed back against it and buckled the composite/carbon fiber.

that is exactly how my FT Tour looks right now. I took it to my head pro and he called Callaway for me, they were going to rush one to me that I might have by Thursday, a 3 day turnaround. I'll let you know if it happens, but it seems like they were eager to help. Hope your experience was/is similar.

Update, Callaway did not have any FT Tour 8.5 degree drivers ready to go, so my pro got me a 8.5 RAZR Hawk Tour put together custom and in my hands within 28 hours, from Carlsbad to Saskatoon in a day, what GREAT customer service. I hope you have a similar experience.
