Who will get first win?

Natalie, Brittany, Morgan, or Michelle. Who do you think will get their first win on the LPGA tour? :crazy: Do you think it will be by a small margin or a stomping? ;)

I'm going to go for Michelle. Her big weakness is putting/short game and that seems to be steadily improving. She's been very close a couple of times and that experience has probably helped. The first win will probably be a small margin, possibly a playoff.

 

Natalie has been around awhile and can never seal the deal. The Anna Kournikova of golf. Try winning a tourney before you put out a calendar, for Pete's sake!

 

Morgan seems to be emotionally unstable and down on herself. Her play this year has not been too promising and her putting is a total mess. If she can muster a more positive outlook and start sinking putts she could turn it around though.

I voted Natalie Gulbis. Over the last few seasons she has been consistantly getting herself in good positions to contend. From this she must be gaining invaluable experience which I am sure will help her capture a first title. I don't think Michelle will win long after her but the amount of golf Gulbis plays I believe she has the best chance of capturing her first title.

As far as the "Big Wiesey", I think she needs to LOOSEN UP around the greens. She looks so tight, mechanical, and stiff on the greens, it hurts me to watch! While I realize she's a leadbetter student - I think she needs to look and feel more natural and relaxed around the greens, and her shotmaking and creativity will come out more. Just my $.02.

I voted for Michelle. She puts herself in contention every time she tees it up -- and stays there through the final round.

 

Natalie may put herself contention, but just can't seem to close the deal; she implodes in the final round. Everyone says that Michelles needs to learn how to win...you can say the same for Natalie, IMHO.

 

Morgan is just too dang emotional out there. I like a player to be fired up, but she just goes a little overboard for me. She gets too hard on herself, angry and explosive, which takes her out of her game. If she can keep her emotions in check, she might be able to finish in the top 10 once in a while.

 

As for Brittany...she's the silent, but deadly one. She's staying under the rader, but has finished in the top 20 in 5 out of 10 starts and career earnings of $159,188.... Not bad for a rookie Duke All-Star.

This was hard because that list is beaucoup talent. I went with Lang, who just goes about her business and knows how to score. Natalie was a toss-up as I think she's getting oh so close, unlike Kournikova Ms. Gulbis has game. Ms. Pressel is only a kid and has the emotional control of a kid. She'll get there also but not before all the others. MW should win but I can't figure out her mindset...kid's got talent enough to mail me some and still compete and win, again just not before the others.

hmmm..my thoughts on each........

 

Gulbis...she's a contender but in my opinion her swing just is not good enough to last 4 days of golf. If she does win, it will be from coming from behind on the last day. She'll never win leading on the last day.

 

Lang...got to watch her at the Fields. The girl had serious game in college and if she can get the mental side down, she'll be a serious contender. Not a classic swing but it's worked for her in college and as soon as she adjust to the Pro game she'll be in there all the time.

 

Pressell....yes she gets emotional but Tiger does too. She just has to learn to make it work for her and not against her. She's won all through her junior years and she will win in the LPGA. Let's not forget she's just a teenager and has years ahead of her to win. Once she starts, she will compete regularly on the weekend.

 

Wie.....best swing on the LPGA. She's a part time player. While everyone's playing weekly the girl is going to high school. She's come in 2nd twice this year already being that part time player. Put her on the tour weekly and the shortgame will improve by great margins.

 

My pick...Wie with Lang a close second.

I went with Natalie mainly becasue she plays in more LPGA events than Michelle so she will have more chances. Both have game and should win very soon.
