To Upgrade or not to Upgrade???

What will I really get from a newer GPS unit?

Hey Everyone!

So I am intently following the Skycaddie SGX thread wondering if I should get one or not. I have had a Skycaddie SG3 for the last 4 years and it still works well. I've upgraded to allow it to hold 20 courses and I only get the state plan each year because I don't golf that much out of state. It also will keep my score now if I wanted it to, but I don't.

What would I really get from upgrading to the SGX or something similar? I basically just use mine now to give me carry distances, distances to hazards, layups on par 5's, and front/middle/back of greens. What will the SGX do that will be able to add to that?

Again, I am really wanting to upgrade, but I need a better reason than a nicer screen (I've got good enough eyesight for it not to matter).

I know it's not out yet, but all of you seemed really fired up that it's the next great golfing tool. :drinks:
