wondering who plays the bridgestone airmuscle and what you think of it, what shaft you have in, and loft? thanks ya'll, replacing my mp60 2i that is 1 degree weak lofted, +1/4". thanks folks...

I think you are on the right track with the airmuscle. I'm really happy with mine and cannot recommend it enough for an accomplished player. I have the 21 degree with the NV stiff shaft that comes stock. It will give you plenty of control as an iron would while increasing your consistency. I would guess that your ball flight will come up only slightly with this club compared to an iron. Demo it though, always a good idea.

i'm going to try one out soon, at a local range, i have x100's in my mp60's... what shaft do you have in yours, i play heavier shafts and swing weights, and most likely would put an x100 in the airmuscle, as for other utility iron possibilities i haven't heard of any regarded as highly as the bridgestone.

The NV is 84g and works well for me. I would have been happier had the NV 105 model been available, but am getting along fine with the lighter version. I didn't hit the steel version, so I can't help you there. I'm glad you are going to try one out because it is not good practice to recommend clubs to people unless they have the opportunity to ultimately form their own first hand opinion.

When I was doing the research before buying this club, I couldn't find anything negative written about it, and now that I have it, I understand why that was.

The retail is about $160 on this club, unfortunately if you are thinking ebay, there isn't a large market out there. Steel shafts are pretty rare, while x flex is even moreso. If you were to fall into the S flex category like me, $80 new is reasonable.
