Serial numbers come on every iron if they are custom ordered. If not they come on the 5 iron only. No serial TYPICALLY means tour (with Titleist).

Is this on the 904F fairway woods too? I couldn't see a serial # on one I am looking at buying and I was going to post about it asking the same question, but it looks like Meanmachine beat me to the punch.

Mine has a serial number on it and I bought it from a retail golf store. (904f S300 Stiff)

With Titleist, 'no serial' could also mean it's a demo/early release. The best way to know if you're getting a tour issued club with this particular OEM is to know your source.

You'll find the serial number on the 6 iron if looking on irons. Like someone mentioned above, the serial number will be on each iron if custom ordered.
