Experience or Recommendations

I am interested in getting some software for home. Does anybody have in experience with the different programs available or recommendations? Thanks

Leadbetter Interactive supposedly includes the V1 software, as well as adds his other instructional DVD's. I just received my copy, but have not installed it yet. I'm looking forward to using it.

I have only used and seen cswing and I thinkit is really good.

But then again, I have nothing I can compare it to.

(well, its better than using windows media player :friends: )

I have used both V1 Home and C Swing, and C swing is clearly a more robust product. V1 has a pro version out there that I haven't seen that is supposed to have more features, but in my mind, you can't beat the free download of V1 Home. Don't bother paying the $40 for the full version either, it is worthless. So depending on what you are willing to pay from $0 to however much C swing is (well over $100), you have some options.

Is the "trial" version time based or just limits the options you can use?

It has limited features. But the features that are available in the full version are not very useful. The full version contains a split screen feature which lets you lock two videos, but since you can't play them independently without getting rid of one of them, you have to have extraordinary luck in getting the video files sync'd up. You also get the slow-mo playback speed adjustment knob in the full version, but there isn't much value there, the preset slow mo feature is plenty and if you want to slow it down you still get frame by frame in the trial version which is the most useful feature in any swing analysis software. All the necessary drawing tools are in the free version too. My advice would be download it at V1's website and see if you like it, or if you need something more. The trial does not run out, it is not timed at all.

You are doing something good for yourself by getting some sort of software. I have never improved so quickly as when I started using video tape and V1 on my laptop during practice.
