Manufacturer Stock Shafts

I have one that works fine, but what am I missing?

I have a Launcher Comp 15* 3W with the stock "Launcher Graphite" stiff shaft. I hit the ball lower than normal with my woods so I think that a low bend point shaft works better for me than something else in this case. The ball flight looks good, but I'm wondering if I am compromising consistency by sticking with the manufacturer stock shaft that I'm sure is considered lower quality than more expensive aftermarket shafts.

Maybe I'm just messing with a good thing.

Thanks for the input so far guys. Actually, I think I should be more direct with this question. I want a heavier shaft than the one I have now which is 65g. I would like to stay between 75g and 82g in something with a low kick point for a high launch. I know you don't get the best shafts with that sort of kick point, but can anyone recommend anything along those lines. I'm like to keep the cost under $200 on this so the redboard is out of the question, unless one falls out of the sky. I'm tinkering with my driver shaft and looking for higher launch there too, but my first priority is the 3W.

They must be good for being 3x the price of all the other decent shafts!

Here are a few good 70+ gram, higher trajectory options for a FW wood, all of which should be under $150 installed:

 

Prolaunch 75

NVS 75

Purple Ice 75

Accra T70 (quite a few players feel the Accra line is as good or better than any of the super $ shafts)

I'd love to see a blind test of various shafts from low $ to premium and see which shaft each golfer picks. I think the results would be suprising to many of the golfers.

You might want to try the new Grafalloy Bimatrx Prototype. Right weight, right launch and pretty cheap.

Actually, a manufacturers stock shaft offering is likely the best fit and most playable shaft for that head.

Stock shafts were designed to be in harmony with the head.

 

In contrast, aftermarket shafts often have a bend point, kickpoint, weight etc... which can make a reshafted club out of balance and less playable.
