I own 3 Tag watches and love the quality and the brand but that has to be the worst looking Tag on the market. Strictly one for the bum bandits that one me thinks.

Get yourself a nice Kirium chronograph or an Aquaracer. They are indestructable and look the business.

I totally agree...this Tag definitely falls at the bottom of the list. I found it to be extremely uncomfortable and "cheap" looking (especially for what it costs).

I think the point of this watch is to wear to the golf course. I don't think aesthetics really plays into it.

Here's an excerpt from the description:

It has been specially designed to meet golfers’ special requirements. Its high-tech materials and carefully studied ergonomic design means that the TAG Heuer professional golf watch will never bother a golfer during the swing.

I wore my Rolex to the course one day and the next day it was in the shop, with a $1500 fee for servicing and fixing the gears. So, to me, it's refreshing to see some higher end watch companies are thinking outside the box. My Rolex and Omega aren't ideal on the course and they sure as hell are confortable swinging a club.

If you're worried about what time it is when you play you shouldn't be playing! If you don't have the time to play, don't! Golf should be relaxing! Its a GAME. the white looks horrible, the black looks better but I think both look cheap for the price they cost. I'm a seiko man myself, but I don't wear my watch when I play golf (obviously.) That being said.. If you're worried about what people think when buying something flashy (like a girly white watch) then you're not ready for it anyways. Get a pocketwatch and attach it to your bag or something if you're that concerned about the time, doctor.

I like it a lot. The white band would look good with white shoes white glove etc. I wouldn't wear too much though... not an everyday type watch design.

I'm aware of the marketing drive behind this particular watch and I still found it uncomfortable on my wrist during and after my round(s). What's funny is that I can (and do) wear a fairly large chronograph watch when I play and it doesn't bother me at all whereas the Tag did. I guess the "form fitting" design wasn't modeled after my wrist. :idhitit:

Side note - I'm left handed, golf right handed and also wear a watch on my right wrist...to top it off my last name ends in 'ski' :friends:

I agree that it's nice to see a high end watch maker thinking more in terms of an active lifestyle. Although it seems significantly easier for a quartz watch to do this than a movement style watch.

My Submariner has been a HUGE money pit. I've never worn it on the golf course, only for important engagements, and it's spent more time in the shop than a Peugeot! I can't believe any diver would trust his life to that watch. :friends:

I have to wear a watch at all times, so my Casio G shock has filled the bill. It's heavy, durable, comfortable, and keeps superaccurate time. I've had 2 which have lasted me 14 years combined. :idhitit:

You've got it right! If you have to ask about this one it's not for you. The white one would have to be worn by someone that's pretty damn confident and if you have to ask then, well, see above... The black one does look REALLY good.

And if you're wanting a G Shock then be sure to check out some of the Suunto watches like the X-Lander...great watch that lasts forever--if it works as an issue item for AF special ops guys it's good enough for me!!

Wow, we've seen the gambit from "chick watch" and "bum bandit" to "pimp." Let's not cross any lines here. :friends:

Me? I would definitely wear that watch . . . this week at least (you would definitely have to learn the lyrics to "it's raining men," though--just ask yourself if you're willing to make that commitment). Then it's back into the closet for a year. VillageSmilies2.gif

That's f***ing hilarious!

This is for men who are comfortable with their sexuality. No-one will care if buy the black one, it's just a watch.

The white one is a different story. You'll be the guy who bought the white Tag and that's what makes it cool.

It's your choice mate but do you want to wear what everyone else is wearing or do you want to be different every now and then?!

George,

I'm still trying to decide which signature is better...this one or your extremely "lengthy" one. Come to think of it, this one could be extremely "lengthy" as well. :idhitit:
