LIMITED EDITION STUDIO STYLE NEWPORT 2.5

what's the difference between the "material" that the reg studio style newport is made from vs the limited edition studio style?

i tried lookin' on scotty's site but couldn't find any info on it. any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you mean a 1st of 500 edition, there is no difference at all, just the stamp and the knowledge it was one of the first off the line.

so if i decided to get the limited edition one, whichever was put in my order will be what i get......

for example, i could end up with no. 43 of 500...? please explain and what's the investment, in terms of golf clubs, are these limited edition series......worth anything to the collector in the near future if not put into play and kept in brand spankin' new condition....a 10 out of 10...!

The only "limited edition" Studio Style putters that I am aware of are the 1st of 500 edition. The 1/500 edition all have the same stamp, which is essetially a crowned 1 of 500 stamp. There is no indication for which one in the line it is, such as 43 of 500 or so forth. If you are looking at this one to flip, my response is, leave it be. The 1st of 500's are not carrying a huge premium (maybe $50 bucks) and have not seemingly hit it big in the collector's arena. If you are looking to take a gamble on something to appreciate look at prototypes or tour putters. Now is kinda the normal low price point time for collectors since they are on the course (prices are higher in the winter), but the protos have jumped throughout the spring and are back down a little right now.
