Faldo Course

My son has qualified to the Faldo Grand Series Final to be held at Lough Erne Resort, Northern Ireland in September. Although he's still too young to fight for winning places I'd like to present the course to him so that he could play his best. It would be his first serious international contest as well. All contestants, irregardless of age, play from the tips that makes it all more difficult...LOL.

I would appreciate receiving any advice and help as regards the very course (I cannot find a course planner/map or even a scorecard on their web page ?!?), possible best strategy of playing that course, and other useful advices.

Congrats to your son, he must have a good coach.

Its a relatively new course, only open 2 years or so. The perception seems to be that at Lough Erne Resort the emphasis is very much on the "resort" part, so I'm not surprised they haven't got around to putting a course guide on their website.
They do have strokesavers available at the shop, so maybe an email or phone call to the golf shop might yield some results - maybe they could email you something.
Last year there was a televised challenge between McIlroy and Harrington, and this year between McIlroy Clarke vs Harrington Lowry - maybe you could get hold of some of the footage from that, it was shown on Sky Sports in the UK.

Thanks, he's a gifted Hogan swing disciple boy. Although I am not a professional golfer I happen to be his coach since I do not want somebody casual spoil his swing

OP-how did your son get on? Did he like it? I played it thought it was ok, some of the greens were ridiculous! Pretty spectacular piece of land mind you!
