Supermax Rescue... thoughts?

I'm almost about to pull the trigger on the supermax rescue. I love the all black look and I've been close to buying a TM Rescue 09 TP. Do the japanes clubs utilize the same R9 tip as the clubs in the US market? Think TM will bring an all black Rescue to the US market soon and that this would just be a waste of money? I love the look of this thing and any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone at least know if the Japanese R9 sleeve is compatible with the US R9 sleeve? Thanks

So nobody knows about the R9 Japanese vs US sleeve differences? I find that hard to believe on this forum.

Pretty sure the sleeves are the same. Think several people or here original sold the JDM sleeves.

I was thinking about getting these also. Wish their were some reviews. They are expensive. Their head covers are cooler.

Not sure about the Supermax Rescue but I think the Supermax driver is using a new sleeves as per Tourspec's blog on the driver.

Well, I ordered the Supermax rescue today. Probably have it in about 2 weeks. Hope it is nice enough to play outside. Will provide feedback when I get to try it out. If I like it, might order the 4 hybrid and 3 wood.

Ok, for my R9 supermax rescue in a couple of days ago and took a couple of pictures comparing it to the 09 Tp rescue 4 hybrid that I have. This R9 Supermax rescue looks good. Will it it tomorrow when I play golf, but it will be in the low 40's out and I haven't been playing much, so I don't expect great things.

Looks great, thnaks for the pics. Has that Raylor sole that should help out of the rough. Crown is much nicer, but I would have to remove the paintfill in the "T" logo.

Look forward to the review! Question will be; is it worth $160+ more? (Have been told that there will be a similar U.S. release in 2011 . . .we'll see)

Have you had a chance to hit this? Any review? Interested to know how distance and trajectory compare. Thx

I have only hit it once and it doesn't look like it is going to get above freezing anytime soon. The day I hit it was in the low 30's with high winds. It felt really hot of the face compared to the US tp rescue version, but I faded it into a bunker going for the green. I was about 185 out, with a green about 10ft uphill and temps were cold. But without the fade I would have been close to the cup.

Sad to say I probably wont be able to try it again for awhile. Right now I can't say if I would buy the 4 hybrid or the 3 wood. Course I have the US rescue tp and the r9 3 wood with a devotion which I love. I will provide more feed back when I get a chance.
