Reposteding Ad's

Once an ad is deleted, can it be reposted and edited from the original? Or is it gone for good and all the work to post everything must be redone?

 

Do we have to wait 30 days to repost if the AD was deleted?

 

How long does an ad last in the normal BST forum before it gets moved to the "archived" section. Its nearly impossible to find old ads that are open.

 

Can someone let me know what was wrong with my ad so that I can make sure I don't have the same mistakes again?

So, if an ad is in the "Trashcan", can it get reposted?

Usually the Ad is in the trash can for a reason. BST posts should be closed by the original poster when sold. Locked Ads and ones past 30 days are moved to the archive section.

I would like to know as well as I had made a post in that thread that I will purchase the Ping bag from Bombn on that night.

I came back in the morning just because I needed to make some documentation of that purchase request and I could not find the thread in BST but it was in the TrashCan. Even then I could not view that thread.


Whomever moved that thread SHOULD have had the courtesy to at least PM the people who replied to the thread. Just common courtesy, that's all I am asking for.

Just let the responders know WHY, surely that is not too much to ask for

Actually,

That would take some time to contact everyone for Ads that probably violated a rule. Why would we encourage bad behaviour? Buyers and Sellers take full responsibility for Ads posted in the BST. The BST moderators are there to make sure everyone follows the rules created by the Membership.

Your Ad was deleted because it contained a non golf item. The Watch. I will move it back but if you do not edit it out before a mod deletes it, its gone.
