i won a cleveland 400t on ebay that has the tour serial number? is it a good buy? anyone ever try one? and notes that anyone might have period????????

ive owned one, the thing is super solid.

I think its ultra low spin driver- for me i was very hard to get the right launch. definatly a rocket launcher great if your good enough to use it.

Awesome head, probably a little outdated these days but I keep one around as a third option. Nice compact head in appearance, square to open face. Solid!

I'd say you got a great deal.

 

a while back Edwin Watts blew a bunch of these out through their clearance center down in Orlando and also sent a few heads to their Birmingham store...but the problem is that they had the crappy stock Clev/Fuji Gold shaft in them, so you had to replace that immediately...but they were cheap, less than $200...that put a bunch into circulation. but if yours has a TXXX serial number it came off the tour, even though all the 400T's were made for the Tour the, some have the TXX and some have no s/n at all.
