mizuno combo set(mp-80)

has anybody have any updated info on the mizuno combo set or when it qill be released?

I'm also eagerly awaiting more information on this - perhaps mythical - set of irons. I put off purchasing a set of MP-60s because of Johnman1969's post in which he says he's seen pictures and saw a friend hit them at a demo day. Could it be that he is just mistaking such a set for the custom grind MP-60/32 combos that can be purchased from tourspecgolf?

 

Where did the name MP-80 come from? And would Mizuno really release a set of irons that would take sales away from 2 of their other iron lines!?

i dont think it would really take away from their other two lines, because it kind of fits snug in between them. Those who cant fully play the 32's but want something more then cavatis...you get teh picture. I still think the sales from teh otehr two lines will be strong, maybe not as strong but they wont die out because mizuno makes great irons.

I haven't heard of this new combo set except on this forum. I have heard rumors of The upgraded

mx 23's and a new hybrid but I have heard nothing about the MP80 set.
