Hilltown Golf Outing in Hazleton, PA; Fri. 5/13 to Sun. 5/15/11

Please join us May 13-15, 2011 in Hazleton, PA for our 22nd Hilltown Sportsmans Club annual golf outing. I have been playing in this tournament for the better part of 15 years and have been part of the committee that has been running it the past 10 years. We had 68 golfers in 2010, but we are expecting a turnout of 80+ players this year.

It is a three day stag tournament (men only - sorry ladies). The 1st two days (Friday/Saturday) are 18 holes/day of stroke play as a blind flighted tournament and Sunday is a 18 hole 4-man scramble (participants are assigned to teams).

Price is $325/person if paying by check/money order - $335 if paying by credit card (via PayPal invoice)

Price includes: (3) rounds of golf, (2) nights lodging at the Comfort Inn, Hazleton PA (double occupancy which includes continental breakfast both Sat. & Sun.), Fri. lunch buffet, Sat. lite lunch, Sat. dinner banquet, Sun. lunch buffet, and many prizes available to win [Daily Individual low gross/net Friday & Saturday per flight plus overall 2-day combined winners, Sun. team scramble winners (front 9, back 9, & overall), & Daily Proximity all three days (Age Group Long Drive, Closest to Pin)].

Friday's round will be held at Valley CC in Sugarloaf, PA, a private equity club & turn of the 20th century A.W. Tillinghast design...Valley CC - Sugarloaf, PA

Saturday's & Sunday's round will be held at Sugarloaf GC in Sugarloaf, PA, a 4-star Golf Digest rated picturesque mountain course labeled as "the most scenic golf course" in Pennsylvania...Sugarloaf GC - Sugarloaf, PA

For a 3-day golf weekend, the value is hard to beat for the entire package of golf, food, & accommodations provided. In addition, there are other activities offered such as inexpensive replays for 9-hole, 2-man scrambles Fri. PM and Sat. AM, an "outing-only" Friday evening Texas Hold-em Poker Tournament in the Comfort Inn's hospitality room, or take in a short 30-minute drive north and try your luck at the Mohegan Sun Casino at Pocono Downs near Wilkes-Barre, PA.
