Taylor Made Rescue Dual 2 (16*)

I have the 19,22,&25 degree clubs and love them. They're fantastic and so I am thinking of repalcing the 3 wood with a 2 rescue dual. I was wondering if anyone tried this particuliar club and wanted to hear impressions of it?? It seems to me that every othe dual has worked great for me. Thoughts? Also thinking it woul dbe fantastic on bac up tee shots.

great to hear that the TM DRs are working out for you. i have the 16* and 19*. love them both. I use the 16* alot in stead on my 3W (904f) but off the tee i still use my 3W when i have the 3W in the bag. i have noticed that you don't get the roll (i guess spin) with the rescue stick as you would with the 3W. that's just from my experience.

now i don't use my TM DR 19* as much.

the 16 degree would be a good bet but if you get it custom made maybe you should bet the shaft a hair over standard to get a little closer of a distance to your three wood

Ive had the 19* mid for a few years but needed something longer that fits the gap between my 3 iron and 3 wd.Since I went to the Xtours I trust the 3 iron more than previous sets.I got the dual 16* and it fits the bill nicely.I wouldn,t recommend it as a 3 wd replacement,but would as a 5 wd substitute.

Yeah, I've got the Dual TP 16 at standard length and hit it about as far as my old 904f 19*, but with a much lower trajectory. For a while there I was using Nickent hybrids and carried a 14* instead of a 3-wood - I found the 14* went about 10 yards shorter, more like 4-wood type distance.
