905R question

going from 983K to 905R???

I am looking for a new driver, I have a 983K with a penley stealth shaft and looking for a 460cc head. I have a 8.5* right now and hit it a little low, not complaining, but if I would get a 9.5* 905R and the change in the CG, will it go too high???? I just want a starting point.

from one current k user to another.....

 

if u find you hit the 8.5* K too low, then definatley get the R in 9.5*.....it's a happy medium.

 

The R is pretty much a blown up version of the K, but the K will be easier to work than the R.....atleast that is what i found from my experiance with the R.

 

Both are great drivers, but it's going to be very hard to get the k out of my bag.

I really have no reason to get a new driver. I have been happy. There is always that "what if" which makes golf so great of a sport. I thought of just resahfting and saving some $$$$. I thought of putting a VR 75 in it. What do you use???

the "what ifs" in golf are a recipe for disaster....lol. I have now come to the conclusion that if it isn't broke, dont fix it...i have an aldila 65s in my 983k now but am after a 983K w/diamana 83s

 

both are 9.5*

After I posted the reply, I saw your bag info. I am one of those guys that have the same belief of yours. My putter is 5 years old, my irons are new due to face wearing thin and same for the wedges. I hate when I get in the mind set, of one bad day of driving, and I need a new driver. I totally know it is operator error.
