Rangerfinders.. Slope worth the extra $$$

I am looking at picking up a rangefinder and was wondering if the option of having slope is really worth the extra cash????

Depends... in Florida, for instance, it's almost worthless.

Depends, do you want to have an official handicap? If you do then slope doesn't do you any good since you can't use it during rounds that you would count towards your handicap.

I have the GX-4 that has slope and I find that I primarily use the unadjusted yardage and then adjust for wind and slope in my head. I just got the unit, so it may take me some time to get used to it. Just not sure how much the particular trajectory I hit my irons affect the yardage that is adjusted for slope. So for now, I think I would be happy with the GX-3. But it's nice to have the feature should I want to use it in the future.

no I play with a guy that just got one for christmas and he always just quites using his and ask me for yardage
