I have. I've owned just about every club ever built because I'm a major golf ho but this is honestly the first club I've ever bought that I can say directly lead to strokes being taken off my score consistently. I've always had problems with distance control with my putts, and for ME this has been the absolute best putter i've ever used for distance control especially if you use backswing distance to help control your distance.

I tried the putter for about 8 months, but to give it up due to distance control. from within 10 feet this was awesome, the best putter within 10 feet I've ever had. But puts in the 15-20 feet range or longer I just never got those dialed in. Sometimes they were short others time they were long. Right now it's may back up, maybe when hitting my approach shots better it will come back.

I have owned a B3 Heavy putter since Spring 2005, it is one of the original 1000 models and is still one of my favorites to use on the course. I am very consistent with it but I like to use a variety of different putters on course (Camerons, TM Corza etc) so the Heavy putter does not always get in the bag.

Some people who have used the Heavy putter experience distance control problems with it but I have found it to be reliable for my stroke on lag putts, it is deadly accurate on shorter putts. The overall weight of the putter is not noticeable, at least for me, when using it on the course but the first time someone picks it up they wonder how they could possibly use one. Give one a try, it is not for everyone as putters are different for each individual. I like to ho putters periodically but my B3 is not going anywhere!!

I own the a3m blade model heavy putter, and it is by far the best i've ever used.Speed control is superb with this stick, and it is the best, bar none, from inside 10 feet.I have owned a number of other putters, most recently a yes putter, and this far outperforms anything i have owned, including a few camerons.Test one out for yourself is my advice to all my golf buddies,it just rolls it soooo smoothly. :kewlpics:

I've been using the mallet style, and I like the weight, it does seem more consistent, and stays online. But... I don't like the "hollow" sound it makes when making contact with the ball! It's definitely not the sweet sound or feel of a Cameron or Bettinardi. Still up in the air about keeping it or going back to a regular putter. Plus, it weighs a TON when walking a course!

Heavy Putter is the real deal. I won't ever go back to a standard weight (unless I see one I like because I'm a whore). I plugged in the copper tungsten plugs as well - it weighs a ton. Awesome on short putts, takes a little time to dial in long ones. Heavy likes fast greens, slow greens are tough with HP. I just love standing over a 5 footer for par now. I used to dread that putt before HP. Highly recommended

Heavy Putter is the real deal.

It certainly Is! That's exactly how I describe it too.

Read My Review: Here

I have used this putter for 4 rounds and had great results on 3 of my 4 rounds. The only issue I have had with this putter is on slow greens. I found I really have to put alot more energy into my putt than I'm used to. Normally this would rocket the ball across the green with any other putter, but with Mr. Heavy it's just about right. Takes some getting used to but by the back 9, I was having much better distance contol on the slow greens.

Thanks,

I liked the idea of the Heavy Putter so had a clubmaker backweight my putter than has been in my bag since 1996. We tried several different weights until I found the one that I was most comfortable with. Best of both worlds, the putter that I loved but much improved with the backweighting. I sink a lot more putts from 10 feet in since I've done this.

So, my "Trial Period" with the Heavy Putter was coming to an End (90 Days) and I have to make a decision as to keep it, or send it back. So I played two rounds, One Saturday and One Sunday at the same course. Saturday I put the Heavy Putter in my bag and had a rather good day putting. I had 34 Putts, which over the last 2 month has become the norm.

Sunday, I decided to put my Odyssey White Hot #1 in the bag. Well, I ended up with 47 Putts! I'm sure alot has to do with the fact that I am so used to the weight now b/c I was blowing past the hole by at least 3 feet and pulling it.

Needless to say, the Heavy Putter is staying in the bag. Still the best putter, and best feeling putter, I have ever used.

Thanks,
