I've played the 2013 Z-TX irons and loved them. very soft feel. Had s400 shafts in them which weren't the best for me as I already have a low ball flight.

Top line has a very traditional look (thin) little to no offset but still squared the ball nicely and gave me confidence at address. Longer irons I found would really punish me on mishits distance wise though didn't paralyze my hands like my old titleist 695CB's did

Would definitely recommend to anyone who can get their hands on a set. Probably fairly inexpensive these days with the new Z line out.

Jack had s400 and he loved the shaft but it bothered his lower back.
Replaced with Nippon 1050gh stiff. New dritacs too from lamkins.
The heads feel great. It is hard for Jack to exactly compare because he forgets the other heads' feel and features over time, and he's never had these shafts before.
They interact well off harder surfaces and seem decent on the mucky stuff. They have a cambered sole, and there's some bounce relief but they are mid between GI and today's player heads. They launch mid to high depending on ball placement, shaft, etc. nice CB toe help. Tungsten placed to assist as it is supposed to. Forged and they are pretty soft. Not MPish soft, more Bridgestone maybe but not as crispy as J models. No offset to note. The PW is just a tad largish from Jack's history of club ownership. Not a bad thing, but new for JP. Thin top lines make you feel like a pro. Beautiful looking. Satin top line edge. Half club longer than mp32s and probably more for Hogan Apex IIs for Jack. Milled face.

Very happy with the ZTXs but Jack likes shinny things too.
