Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks!

I've seen this hubby and wife several times over the last 10 years or so but since they have merged the bands its an awesome thing. They were doing the soul stew revival (great also) but now it appears thet are playing together exclusively.

Venue center stage here in atlanta good venue for sound even though the arena area is a little worn.

The show it was awesome as always when I have seen these two. Its blues rock, southern rock to its limits. No much to say about the great Derek Trucks he is one of the great 6 stringers of his generation and Susan's vocals are great. I know this music will never be massively popular but d@mn she and he should be huge!

The band lineup is all star as well. They have a brass section with sax, trombone, trumpet. 2 drummers one of which is JJ Johnson who has recently drummed with Mayer and Clapton to name a few. The bass player is Oteil Burbridge from the allman brothers just great lineup to go along with these greatly talented musicians.

If they are coming to a venue near you go see em and support em if you enjoy this type of music.

Seen Derek Trucks Band a bunch of times.. Always someone I tried to catch when following Panic for a couple of seasons.....

Yeah ive seen the Derek Trucks band and also with Allman Brothers Band... I am going to see Mumford and Sons tonight in Vegas, going to be great

They've got a pretty good tour going on now. I plan on going to the show in Seattle on 5/24, followed by Jethro Tull on 6/17, Smokin Joe Kubek on 6/25, and then Ana Popovic and Matt Schofield on July 30. Looks like it's going to be a good Summer in the Pacific NW

Man to me J.J Johnson is one of best drummers I've heard only behind Steve Jordan. So tight. Doesn't need to be flashy, just sits there in the pocket and grooves away

Derek is one amazing guitarist, can bring it like few can.

Love seeing the CNN love for WSP, 25 years! Its been one helluva ride. Hopefully they will continue on for a long time..with Derek sitting in lots down the road as well.

I saw Derek Trucks play in Raleigh, N.C., when he was 12. Haven't listened to him since then, but will check out those videos.

No doubt about that IMHO one of the best current drummers around, with him in the lineup its even better.

Saw my first Panic show on Friday night in Little Rock. Aside from My Morning Jacket last Halloween in Louisville, it was the best three hours of my life.

I've been a longtime fan and just haven't been able to make a show until now. Jerry Joseph played before they came on and as expected, he showed up halfway through the Panic show for a "Life is Like Water" and "Chainsaw City." It was a fantastic show.

Great to hear, just doesnt get much better than seeing Panic live. The boys always bring it, esp with longtime friend JJ. Check out panicstream.com to dig deep into the Panic archives.
Get in as much as you can in before the end of the year as a hiatus is on the horizon. They are coming to Texas soon, here we go!
