Pear shaped for me.  Qi10, Qi10 LS, and TSR3 are pretty much the ideal shape to me.

I'd have to agree with Rfmadjr, the TSR2 is more of what I think of as pear shape.

I dropped the reference to pear shape because it can be confusing so I’m using the term, modern shape or traditional

I joke I joke my man, but yea i think I would have to say i like the look of modern faces with the rounded crown that looks less wide from face to backend. I still think that some people just have more confidence with some types vs the other types and that should be the leader factor besides the numbers and consistency. I like this question though!

Ok lol.  I need some clarification.  First of all, I don't see an actual poll?  And, the TSR2 is much more rounded than the TSR3/Qi10 LS is it not?  Maybe the definition of pear shaped is up for debate here too haha.

IMO, size has more to do with shape.  Since I've played Titleist for many years, the head shape of my old 905S and current TSR2.

Yea the TSR3 is what I understood as pear shaped if we are talking about top down pov. The TSR2 is what I would describe as more bulbous.

I guess that is the only way I have ever seen the words pear shaped used when describing a golf club.  So, was just confused.  I think he's asking about the face though.  I dunno.

I like the shape and idea of B.. but A is what makes more sense aerodynamicly. Plus i have tsr2 and it looks great down by the ball.

Tsr2 I believe. That’s what I googled anyhow. It doesn’t look like the tsr1.

I'm not a fan of pear-shaped drivers. My first driver was a Callaway X460, which is more symmetric than pear-shaped, so that's always influenced my preferences. I like the shape of Callaway's drivers still (especially the LS versions), and I like Cobra's current shape (more triangular) as well. I'm currently playing Cobra Aerojet and I love how it looks at address.

 

Outside of the pear-shaped drivers, the only ones that bother me at address are really shallow, long drivers (think G430 10k).

 

If we're talking face shape, I have no strong preference. I'm only bothered if it's super shallow.
