Ogios in the rain

esp 2010 Ozone

How are the Ogio owners doing with their stand bags in the rain? I'm getting sick of not playing due to the rain, so I have some good rain gear on the way that will allow me to play in anything short of a thunderstorm. The one thing I'm unsure about is how my Ozone will hold up, and how the contents of my bag will fare. I think the valuables pouch is lined and protected, but how about all the other pockets? Do I need to worry about my food, gloves, towels, GPS, etc? I haven't used the stock rain cover yet, so I have no idea how it will do either. Lastly, does the outer material of the bags handle water ok, or should I be looking at drying it off right away after the round?

not sure about the rain aspect ..BUT..I did find that due to the crappy leg/stand mechanism on the Ozone, the bag has a tendency to fall in the wind..ALOT!! anyone else have that problem? OP? Prob. trading it in for a SM four 5 like I should have gotten in the first place.

I live in WA and have an 09 Ozone. I don't have any problems with my contents getting wet in the rain. I will say that the factory raincover is kind of a joke. A total pain in the a** to put on and use. The bag itself isn't advertised as waterproof, but I've never had a problem, and I play in the rain quite a bit.

I have an old version of the ozone as well. I have never played in an all out downpour but it has held up to normal passing showers
