Callaway Big Bertha 2002/2004

I currently play Ping ISI-K irons and am looking to go with the BB 2002 or 2004. I have read a lot of reviews, but would like more info. I am concerned about distance and what thereal differences are between the 2002 to the 2004. Thanks!

No difference in feel between the 2 sets. The 2002 models have a much thicker sole. The 2004 models corrected this. I played the 2004 irons and loved them! Took me from a 10 to a 2 handicap... You can't shape anything or even hit knockdowns but they will easily get you on the GIR. Plan on getting me another set once I get back stateside. The wind here in Guam is too much for them.

i played the 2002 and my father still plays the 2004. couldnt find any difference in feel or performance, and the look is almost identical.

those irons sure are forgiving but look like shovels. if you dont care about looks its a good choice.

Thanks for the replies. What about distance, I have read that they are both shorter and longer. Any info on this? Or any other suggestions about a more forgiving iron?

I hit the 2002 BB iron 7 and 5 today, and they are damn long (for my swing). i hit the 7 iron well over 160 yards. Those irons are extremly easy to hit. My Mizuno MP37 blades are a nightmare to hit compared to those.
