what degree hybrid to get?

first hybrid

this will be my first hybrid to be added to my set. I have a hard time using my 3I and 4I so I stopped using both and plan on getting a hybrid to replace them.

If your looking to replace both with one club I would go with a 22 to 23 degree hybrid. You will probably hit a hybrid with an equal loft as your four iron about as far as your three iron as a result of the longer shaft and increased launch. A lot of companies like nickent use 20 degrees as a three iron replacement but then you will have a large gap between that and five iron (typically 26-27 degrees). If you like the nickents, go with their 4 iron replacement (23 degrees). You will find it will probably be a tad longer than your three iron distance wise and with a little choking up or three quarter swing you will have your normal four iron distance.

I just bought a Halo 4i to replace my 4 and 3 iron. It is longer than my 4 iron and just a little shorter than my 3 iron. If I step it up, it will go farther than my 3 iron.

Try the Hi-bore hybrid, a 22 degree. The HALO is cheaper and very close to the type of club, but it's only $30 more expensive. Or try a 23 degree Cally Fusion. All very good clubs.

Correctly, one is rescue mid and the other is rescue dual where the former does not have weights to move around and the latter has the option. No much difference though! If you find the mid you will find it much cheaper than the dual and the performance is the same...

In addition to the weights, the sole is quite a bit different, and a big improvement in the Dual (imo).

I'd say a 22 hybrid.

I took an Md 23 and bent it to 22 and added 1/4 inches in length for my tweener. The Sonartec is one of the few you can bend.

The TM Dual has a much higher MOI than the TM Mid -besides the weights, it looks like less offset and some differences in the design and sole. I found one on ebay for $155 for my son.
