Looking at the pic of the V steel makes me wonder if it wont be like the new Orlimar VT 830, where it has one weight in the back to change between a high launch or low launch

What will be the point of a V Steel Dual? Won't it be exactly like the r7 because the r7 also puts in the V shaped sole with 2 weights, so they will basically be the same club

If I'm not mistaken, the r7 is titanium and the V steel is....well steel. Please correctly if I am wrong.

 

Some peolpe might like steel heads better than titanium for their woods. I know I do.

Its not a "V-Steel Dual" here.   Just a new V-Steel.   No adjustable weights.  The weight plug in the back of the head is just like the one on the Rescue Dual, in that its just there for weight and looks.   Mainly used for swingweighting at the factory.  Not adjustable.

 

R7 TP - Titanium, adjustable weights

V-Steel - Steel, non-adjustable

What I've heard from other websites and also retail store owners, is that the new TP RAC wedges will come in black finish and retail around $200 (think $150-160 street price). They will have Y-cutter grooves also. Don't know anything about the TP Shallow and new V-steel.

IMO the old V-Steel looks way better than the new on. But the wedge looks good.

r7 ht TP: Asia only

 

New V Steel (no movable weights): Europe & Asia only

 

rac Black TP wedge: Available late September, it has the "Y-cutter" grooves and improved rac pockets for enhanced feel. Will be offered in 52, 54, 46, 58, & 60 lofts -- with only one bounce option for each (the new shapes are designed for more flexibility). LH in 52, 56, & 60. Look for MSRP to be around $150, with street price around $120.

yup these wont be adjustable its like the r5 dual and the rescue dual, the're there for weighting but arent adjustable.

 

The Rescue Dual comes with 3 weights - the one in the middle looks like the one on the new V-Steel Dual and it's fixed and not adjustable.

But the rescue Dual also has two other weights on the sides and these are in fact adjustable and interchangeable.
